What a Personal Concierge Can Do For You
I have a client who is presently in a really tight spot. She is balancing the demands of running her own business with setting up her home for her adult son, who is returning home to recuperate after a very serious car accident and a lengthy hospital stay. She is completely overwhelmed, dealing with both the needs of her clients and those of her son. Because of his limited mobility, she is having to make modifications to her home—and that means handling contractors, a handyman, deliveries of medical equipment. The stress is taking its toll on her, physically and emotionally.
Now imagine if her local grocery delivery service gave her the wrong order, or worse yet—never delivered it all. It would have just put her over the edge.
This is the difference between working with a personal concierge and a delivery app, or a “connect with freelancers” app. I always call my clients prior to their first service, so that we can discuss their situation and their needs. I go from store to store to find an item on your list, before getting your preferred substitution. On a recent pharmacy run for the client I told you about, she texted me and asked if I could swing by Panera and pick up lunch for her. Of course I could! ChoreVoyant isn’t a delivery service; it’s a personal concierge service. My client was so grateful that she didn’t have to interrupt her back-to-back meetings by running out to pick up a prescription and dealing with what to prepare for lunch. We take our tag line, "Your Day Simplified,” seriously. This client, like all our clients, has enough on her plate. Her life is complicated enough; being able to maintain her regular work schedule gives her a sense of normalcy, when not a lot else seems normal.
Recently, this client told me how much she appreciates that I take care of her grocery shopping, pharmacy pick-up, and laundry. She doesn’t have to deal with yet another subscription, another company, another app. She knows that she can call or text me, and it’s like having that friend who can pitch in and take care of things when you’re in a jam.
What about you? Do you have a situation that’s overwhelming you, and could use a helping hand? If so, call me (201)707-5813 and let’s chat.
